The Bible says that people perish where there is no vision. Webster's dictionary defines the word vision as; an object of imagination, a mode of seeing or conceiving, unusual discernment or foresight. With those descriptions in mind there is certainly no lack of vision in the Aldergrove church, the greatest of which is to see lost people get to know Jesus Christ.
With that in mind the church body met for a special brainstorming/visioning session back in early 2002. The objective was for as many members as possible to come and share their ideas on how we as a church could intensify our search and rescue mission for lost souls. Out of that meeting a Visioning Committee was struck. Their task was to sift all the ideas gathered from the visioning session and create a list of vision objectives for the next 3 years. Below is a list of the goals and main objectives that came out of that meeting.
